WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR DAY

Your catamaran day begins with a scenic cruise across Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is approximately 45 minutes from Baytowne Marina, giving you time to settle in, enjoy the boat and take in the bay along the way.

Four hours works well for a classic Crab Island experience. Choose six or eight when you want more time at anchor, more time to explore and a day that feels a little less hurried.

4 HOURS

A great introduction to Crab Island, with roughly 2½ hours to anchor, swim and enjoy the water after cruising across the bay and back.

6 HOURS

Our sweet spot for groups who want more time at Crab Island without watching the clock—and a little room to explore along the way.

The most unhurried way to experience your catamaran, with time for Crab Island, cruising the bay, lunch and wherever the day takes you.

Your Day, In Good Hands

Your confirmation email will include three qualified captains, along with a short introduction to each, for you to choose from.

Simply send your preferred captain a quick text with your charter date and time to confirm their availability. Your captain will reply with confirmation and any important details you’ll need for your day on the water.

YOUR DAY BEGINS AT BAYTOWNE MARINA

Your catamaran charter departs from Baytowne Marina in Sandestin, a convenient starting point for guests staying along 30A, Miramar Beach and the Destin area.

From the marina, settle in and enjoy the approximately 45-minute cruise across Choctawhatchee Bay to Crab Island. The ride is part of the experience; with plenty of time to relax, take in the views and get the day started.

From start to finish, this was one of the best boat cruises my family and I have ever been on. The boat was exactly as advertised—spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. The attention to detail immediately stood out and set the tone for an exceptional experience.

What truly made this trip unforgettable, however, was Captain Jeffrey Kelly and his deckhand, Ken. In my line of work, I’m naturally cautious and don’t easily place my trust in others, especially when my family’s safety is involved. From the moment they introduced themselves, their genuine personalities, Southern hospitality, and professionalism immediately put us at ease. They were knowledgeable, personable, and made the entire trip feel relaxed, enjoyable, and effortless.

By the end of the cruise, it felt less like we had hired a charter and more like we had spent the day with good friends. My family enjoyed every minute of the experience, and when we return, there is no question who we’ll be calling. Captain Jeffrey Kelly and Ken exceeded every expectation and made this a trip we’ll be talking about for years to come.

I cannot recommend them enough. My little girls also said this was the best day ever and told me how much they enjoyed them. As a parent, it made it worth every penny.
