Frequently Asked Questions
Thanks for checking out our FAQ page! We’re here to make your day on the water as easy and enjoyable as possible. Whether you’re celebrating a bride, hosting a group of friends, or planning a family adventure, you’ll find answers below about captains, routes, catering, what to bring, and how our charters work so you can show up relaxed and ready for fun.
Because we operate as a bareboat charter, Coast Guard regulations require that the captain’s fee be paid directly to the captain, separate from the boat booking.
Even though payment is separate, we clearly display your total all-in cost on our website so you know exactly what to expect.
Once you book, we will email a list of our pre-approved captains—each with excellent hospitality skills and deep knowledge of the area.
You may have up to 13 passengers total—you plus 12 guests.
The captain and crew do not count toward this limit; they are in addition to the 13.
Absolutely. Please use plastic containers for beverages. We also have catering options available. Please select your options at checkout.
Yes—BYOB is welcome. Wine and liquor bottles are fine to bring, but all drinking cups and individual beverages must be in plastic containers for safety.
It’s completely up to you! Since this is a bareboat charter, the boat is yours for the day.

Yes, there are Coast Guard-required life jackets on our boats. If you have small children, you may want to bring your own life jacket as all children 8 and under are legally required to wear a life jacket while on the boat. The Coast Guard-approved ones may not be the most comfortable for small children.
The Catamarans do. The Pontoon boats do not. However, your Captain will know of places to stop to use the restroom along your journey. We make every effort to provide you a comfortable and convenient experience for your day on the water.
Your crew works very hard to make sure you have an enjoyable and safe experience on the water. A 20% tip is the minimum amount suggested.
